This infographic task is about illustrating a set of nested facts. It requires a comparison between related data.

This fact is about how many peeps that people would consume at Easter holiday, and how many pigs would die for making these Marshmallow Peeps. The large numbers are very hard for readers to imagine, so I compared this information with the daily pork consumption in Australia. In visualization, I used little pigs on calendar and peeps on a calendar to represent the everyday consumption of pork in Australia and a number of peeps consumption during Easter.

The bright yellow and dark blue are showing that this is a sad fact about a happy holiday. The layout in this final version is a 90-degree rotation of the first draft to make the headline easy to read.
